Jake visits your property, pulls soil samples, and puts them under a microscope. You get a written report showing what's actually living down there — bacteria, fungi, protozoa, and nematodes, counted and measured.
This isn't a chemical soil test telling you how much nitrogen you have. It's a headcount of the living workforce in your soil.
No generic spring-and-fall calendar. Your plan is built from your report — which bio-complete soil your soil needs, in what order, and when. Your grass type, irrigation, and Florida's seasons all factor in.

Everything we apply is produced locally by our sister company, Treasure Coast Compost, from Martin County organic material. Bio-complete soil, bio-complete extract, and charged biochar go down on a schedule matched to your soil.

We come back at 30, 60, 90, and 120 days. Photos, root checks, and at 90 days a full second microscope analysis — the same measurements from day one, run again.

Healthy soil isn't dirt — it's a living community, and it's busy. Here are the three jobs that community does, and why each one matters in Florida sand.
Your soil already contains most of the minerals your plants need — they're just locked in forms roots can't take in. Bacteria and fungi eat those minerals; protozoa and nematodes then eat the bacteria and fungi, releasing the minerals right in the root zone in exactly the form a plant can use.
That handoff is nutrient cycling — a delivery service that runs on its own, for free, as long as the workers are alive and fed.
Think of it like this: the pantry is already stocked. Biology is the cook. Without a cook, you can keep ordering takeout forever — or you can get the kitchen running again.
Bacteria produce a natural glue, and fungi grow long threads that thread through the soil like netting. Together they bind loose particles into crumbs with air pockets between them — what soil scientists call aggregate structure.
Those air pockets are where roots breathe and travel. Structureless soil gives roots nowhere to go, so they stay shallow and the plant stays fragile.
Think of it like this: loose sand is a pile of marbles. Structured soil is a sponge — same material, completely different behavior.
This is the big one in Florida. Our sandy soils drain so fast that water often passes the root zone before roots can use it — which is why so many lawns here are watered constantly and still look thirsty.
Biology changes that. Organic matter and soil structure hold moisture near the roots instead of letting it run straight through — so more of every rainfall and irrigation cycle stays where the plant can reach it.
Think of it like this: pouring water through a colander versus pouring it onto a sponge. Same water, very different result.
Why we measure instead of assume: everything above is only true if the biology is actually there. That's the whole reason we start with a microscope — so we know what your soil has, and you can see for yourself what changes.

We started Replenished Roots because we watched the standard playbook run on lawns and farms all over the Treasure Coast: apply more inputs, get a short-lived result, apply more again next season. The soil kept getting less alive, and the bill kept getting bigger.
The Indian River Lagoon is fifteen minutes from most of our clients' front doors. What goes on the ground here ends up in the water here. We'd rather build soil that holds onto what it's given than keep feeding a system that leaks.
So we do it the slower way. We measure, we apply living biology, we come back and measure again. Our goal is a property that needs less from us each year — and a county with more living soil in it than when we started.
